Conrad Hamill is an Australian cellist, composer and soundscape artist experimenting with sounds outside the concert hall.

Growing up a classical cellist and pianist, Conrad studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music before graduating as a sought after multi-instrumentalist across multiple genres. He is now based on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne and performs regularly across Sydney, Byron Bay and Brisbane.

As a composer and soundscape artist, Conrad has brought cello yoga to studios across Australia, provided soundscape commissions to festivals and meditation practitioners, been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald and on The Project, performed solo concerts to audiences that can move, sit or lay down throughout as they choose and was a featured speaker and performer at TedXSydney 2020 on his work connecting music, mind and movement.

As a commercial musician, Conrad has performed and recorded with artists including Rita Ora, Darren Criss, Michael Bublé, Gang of Youths, Kygo, Ministry of Sound, James Arthur, Jimmy Barnes, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Pete Tong, Hans Zimmer and The DMAS and in venues including the Sydney Opera House and State Theatre. He has appeared on The Voice, X-Factor, The Morning Show, The Today Show and has recently collaborated with STAN, recording iconic cello lines for an upcoming TV-series.

As a music theatre and cabaret musician, Conrad has performed across Australia and New Zealand in festivals including the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Perth Fringe World, Sydney Fringe Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival with companies including Little Triangle, Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Hayes Theatre Company and One-Eyed-Man Productions.
